Middle Schoolers Become CEO For A Day at iRex

For the second consecutive year, students from J. Frank Dobie Middle School visited the TyRex facilities on May 13 as part of their “CEO For A Day” program. A total of 39 students in grades 6-8 participated in the program this year, which is part of the Restore Rundberg Project. TyRex Founder John Bosch, Jr., TyRex President & SabeRex CEO Andrew Cooper, iRex President Matt Ache and RecognizeGood Executive Director Joel Coffman hosted two students apiece – Jesus, Josue, Joel, Juan, Johan, Julian, Theylin & Rejoice – and not only toured them through the different TyRex facilities, but also taught them about the products / services of the various companies, the importance of company culture and what it takes to run an entity like TyRex.

The intention of the program is to show students that making positive life choices leads to success in school and helps them achieve their goals in life – each student will write down their top five goals and choose one that would make the most positive impact on their life. The program gives students a reason to learn, builds their self-confidence and inspires their achievement.
